Checking In

That's a picture of my nephew. Isn't he cute! Thanks everyone for such lovely comments on my last post. They made me feel so much better (and loved). Things are better at my house, especially since all of the Christmas guests have cleared out already. I went to sleep at about eleven last night and woke up at eleven-thirty this morning, so I've finally caught up on my sleep and I'm not stretched as thin anymore. The four day vacation is helping as well.

I've mainly been on a sugar rush for the past two days as well, so that could be helping. lol I think I've eaten about three pounds of banana pudding since last night. I actually made myself physically ill off of the stuff right before dinner yesterday. Fun times. XD

I'm glad that I got to see my nephew open his presents. Oh, and I did get to attend dinner as well. The only really low point of my evening yesterday was when my dad refused to sit down at the dinner table and eat with us. See, my parents have pretty much hated each other since I can remember. They stopped living together when I was seventeen and things are very strained between them. Dad holds a grudge, as does Mum, but Dad can be a real bastard (sorry for the language Katie) and takes things out on everyone. And when my sister-in-law asked my dad why he wouldn't open the presents I bought him, he replied with, "because I don't want to." I swear, I may love the man b/c he's my father, but I don't like him very much at all. He's such a controlling prick.

I'm going to come on tonight for a little while. I'm just tired of not talking to everyone b/c I'm having RL problems. Plus, all of my friends on Pirates make me feel better when I'm down (and that includes you Jackie XD), so I'll catch you guys tonight!
